We've, sadly, run across a shortage of pasticceria's since leaving Cortina. There have been a few here and there, but the selections offered have been disappointing. On the plus side, we found M&M's again!
The best strudel?
Well, that place in Prato allo Stelvio is, hand's down, the best we had. But I can't remember the place's name, and I bought only one (dummy). The best-of-the-rest, Santuz of Cortina d'Ampezzo. Despite Alvera's offering's superior size, Santuz had the right combination of crust, seasoning, and texture.
