First full ride day to Lac Cap de Long and Lac d'Aubert. It was pretty. . . pretty hard. I felt like crap the whole day. Back hurting, moving sooooo slowly. It was a pain. Briefly--I wasn't as impressed with it as the blogger above.
Lot's of cars head up there--hikers, etc. That was annoying. The vistas were cool, but I wasn't as impressed as I think I should have been.
I had fully intended to ride out to Piau Engaly, which would have added about 12 more miles but I was so burned out I couldn't bring myself to do it. That's been changing in me. . . where before I'd have no problem adding another climb, even looking for them, I just opt out now. At least so far. I need to eat better and dress warmer when possible.
